| The American Ballet Theatre DVD has great music and dancing but it was not produced for HD in 1977. If picture quality is important, I suggest purchasing the more modern 2008 San Francisco ballet production. The SF choreography has far more charm than the dark ABT version. Nevertheless, one cannot top Kirkland's dancing with Baryshnikov. |

| This is by far the best performance of the Nutcracker I've seen, live or recorded. The fresh setting (both time --1915, and location--San Francisco), as well as the beautiful costumes and the fabulous twist on the pas de deux make it a pleasure to watch. The use of the World's Fair Pavilion as a backdrop for Act 2 is also a fun change.

| I bought the two Andre Rieu DVD's (Vienna/New York) for my wife, not expecting to enjoy them myself. Turns out they're great light-hearted fun. Rieu is a master showman - not everyone's cup of tea, but good at what he does. The productions are beautifully filmed and the music selections are somewhat varied - it's not all Strauss waltzes (although there are plenty of those!). |

| My grandson is 2 and loves to listen to this DVD when he goes to sleep. Well, most of the time. It is very soothing and great music!!!! When I received the DVD the case was completely cracked into. I probably should have returned it but I really wanted it to help put him to sleep and the DVD played fine. |

| I remember seeing Amahl on TV in my teenage years, and it is very hard to find it being produced. So I was delighted to find this original, and at a reasonable price. I got one for myself and one for my granddaughters. Shortly after I ordered it, there was a production on TV (in color, which was nice), but it wasn't as good quality as this original. Thanks for making it available. |

| This has been a favorite of both my children. My 7-year old loved this video as a toddler and now my youngest enjoys it even more. My 22-month old loves to count with the number train and name the objects as they appear on the screen. Love that they use the same objects to show 1 item, then two, etc. it helps with counting and object recognition.
