| This video was thoroughly enjoyable. The music is such an experience when combined with Disney's animations. I find myself being in a happier disposition when watching this DVD. I would recommend it. |

| I remember seeing Amahl on TV in my teenage years, and it is very hard to find it being produced. So I was delighted to find this original, and at a reasonable price. I got one for myself and one for my granddaughters. Shortly after I ordered it, there was a production on TV (in color, which was nice), but it wasn't as good quality as this original. Thanks for making it available. |

| What can I say? The picture quality and camera work is fantastic. The cameras look like they are on top of the orchestra capturing every solo. The sound quality is also quite good. The sound was actually an improvement over the televised version. The performance was just amazing. I have watched this about 10 times and it doesn't get old. I could have done without the two national anthems and the last track where they play a North Korean piece. |

| I read several reviews before I purchased my copy of this concert. The mention of glare ruining the DVD was a bit exaggerated; too many other angle shots salvaged the show. The quality of shots could have been better, but then there's always a drawback to proper angles and exposures in hindsight, when a dry run isn't available in the concert hall to fine tune all the cameras. I found the lighting used more semi-gaudy hues than normally seen.

| I saw this show on PBS and enjoyed it. I like it even better without the commercial, excuse me, the fund raiser. That is the only time PBS airs this type of program, otherwise it is 10 years of more of AS Time Goes By. |

| Do not hesitate to buy this DVD. It is worth every dollar. The four singers really stand out, Netrebko with her angel-like voice, Vargas with a wonderful tenor voice, Garanca as a colorful mezzo and Tezier as a brilliant baritone. Each and every aria are outstandingly sung and when the four of them join to sing both an aria from Rigoletto and from Traviata their voices blend wonderfully.
