| Alex Kendrick does a wonderful job acting and directing this movie. It teaches a great life lesson about putting your trust in the Lord and letting God work. I loved all the characters in this movie. I think this movie is even better than his later ones. |

| Pure Country is a good movie if you like Country Music--as played by George Strait. Strait acts in it, something he hasn't done before or since, and plays a character named Dusty Wyatt Chandler who is a big Country star.

| This was one of the best pilot episodes of any series of that decade that was made it gave a background story to how they moved from the Big woods and on the way to Walnut Grove. You meet Mr Edwards for the first time and wouldn't be the last.
So if you had bought the first season and did'nt realise that the pilot wasn't part of it then go and buy as it is part of the series and it was up to Micheal Landan's perfection |

| After selection, the movie was mailed to me in exactly the time frame adverstised. Knowing it was previously viewed I was pleasantly surprised to find the DVD in perfect order and played beautiful. I recently saw Tina live in Houston. I wanted to see the movie again as it is a powerful tribute of where she was, how she got started, and how she was started again. I loved the heartfelt pain and triumped with her as she returned solo and became one of the greatest women of all time. |

It was given to me and I wasn't sure what to expect because it says sex in the title but to my surprise this movie might be quite a disappointment if you are looking for sex. It mostly "speaks" about sex and attempts to taunt and tease but if you are looking for actual graphic sex even in the slightest, don't worry, you won't find it in this movie. | This pertains to the Criterion Collection version; the movie remains interesting but BAD...painful. After trying to watch it it many times; I give up. However, this edition is superior in all aspects and the "extras" are enlightening. Buy it if you like the movie. |

| I had never heard of this movie until a few weeks ago, and can't imagine how it didn't get Oscar buzz in 2005. Maybe it did, but I sure don't remember hearing about it.
