| I liked it. It kept my interest and I would watch it again. I like that there's violence without the blood. The actors were really good (like the first). I would recommend it esp. if you are CS Lewis fan. |

| In this latest batman installment forgot the past because it's dead. Director Chris Nolan takes this genre into a new direction. Christian Bale is spot on as a believable gritty force that literally puts fear into criminals. All other actors' delivery honorable performances expect for Katie Holmes who is flat from start to finish.

| First the movie: It's a pretty faithful adaptation of Lewis' novel. There are minor changes but nothing major. Acting is decent, direction is good, and the special effects are outstanding. The novel was a remarkable children's story of redemption and salvation, and the filmmakers avoided simplifying it or softening some of the harder edges. | Next time I bye anything from you guys I hope it isn't damaged liked the Nightmare Before Christmas DVD I received. There was a crack at the bottom of the case and the swinging DVD holder was broken on the inside. It looks as though it was tossed around. The movie was a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and luckily I ordered the same item twice otherwise she would have been the one that received it instead of me. |

| I have been a fan of Dickens' beloved story all my life. I have watched numerous versions each year since I was a child. While I've always believed the Alister Sim version (1955) was the best of all time, I must now state that Patrick Stewart as Scrooge is simply incredible! Stewart truly brings Scrooge to life, and his ability to convey the profound transformation of the old miser is simply marvelous. Great supporting cast and costuming as well. I would highly recommend this production! |

| From an adult perspective, this is just the original in reverse. Ariel wants to live on land, her daughter wants to live in the sea. Ursala is dead, so her sister Morgana plays the sea witch. It's cute, but isn't a truly original idea. I would only give it 3 stars, except.......

| This is one of the best-looking Blu-Ray movies out there. The battle in the Ministry will wow you if you've got an HDTV and a Blu-Ray player.
The movie should have been longer, and they left out some important stuff, but I prefer the movie's version of the events that transpired in the Department of Mysteries and the battle. A fantastic movie overall, and a Blu-Ray that should definitely be in your collection if you're looking for the 'wow factor'. |
