| If you've read The Secret and loved it as much as I did, then you must get the DVD as well! It basically repeats the book in oral form, quotations are all the same, but it adds tons of visual detail and more story-telling done by the contributors of the book. I was already using The Secret, after reading the book, to manifest small things to sort of 'test' the law of attraction and I must say that I was very impressed at how accurate the 'law' is everytime. | First of all, David Attenborough is a terrific narrator. Had he not narrated this, I doubt I would have purchased it. He compliments documentary films THAT well, and enhances the overall enjoyment and fulfillment of viewing such works.

| This movie was recommended by our daughter and she was RIGHT! It is delightful and so to the point as we live in a retirement community and sing with a church choir. At our church the average age is 85 and our director just turned 50. He is keeping us young! We also experience the trials and troubles of the group in Young at Heart. |

| After having known Scorsese's earlier work like "Last Waltz" and recently "No Direction Home - Bob Dylan", I expected "Shine a light" to be of a similar standard. But it's mostly damp squib with the entire movie being about just one concert (all songs shown are played fully) with very few titbits from backstage and fewer clips from Stones' earlier years. This is not a documentary on the Rolling Stones but rather an extended dvd of one concert. Nothing really stands out here. All in all very avoidable. | I first saw this DVD in Netflix. I was so shaken by this DVD that I decided to buy my own copy and make at least 10 families watch this. The dirty games played by the insurance companies and their congessional buddies is unbelievable. This is a country by the lobbyists, for the lobbyists and of the lobbyists. Alas, who speaks up for the common man, except guys like Michael Moore..One qestion that comes to mind while watching this: WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE IN THIS COUNTRY? |

| This documentary is great. I actually saw it - unlike the majority of the 1 star reviewers. I believe that this movie hit a nerve and has caused some really stupid people to think they can kill it by a negative Amazon.com review. I saw it in the theater and have ordered the DVD. This documentary uses a Michael Moore approach to expose the elite scientific community's stifling of anyone who proposes, suggests, or mentions intelligent design. Those three phrases best describe this documentary. Chris Bell really, really nailed the subject of steroids on the head with his movie. His first hand knowledge of steroids and how to get them, use them, their effects on the body and the effect they have on your personality and family life really make the movie.
