| Beck makes most things up. He appears to be a habitual liar. He is also a snide, sarcastic, very unlikeable human being. How anyone can watch this full-of-himself blowhard and serial manipulator for more than about 23 seconds is amazing. Beck appeals to the worst parts of all of us. He tries to make us less than what we are capable of being. Beck hopes we will run to our most base fears, so that people like him can line their pockets.

| I don't know how the critics got it so wrong when this movie came out. It was barely in the theaters long at all. Julie Taymor is such a genius & all the actors did a great job. I love the reinterpretation of the Beatles music. I don't usually buy movies, but I had to own this one. |

| I really didn't care for her voice, she has a very harsh, deep sounding voice. I liked the part with the jonas Brothers though, they sounded really good! I should clarify I am not an 8 yr old I am 41 yrs old so that may be the reason I didn't go crazy over her concert movie...lol |

| The musical is not my genre of choice. I prefer classic film-noirs which are about as diametrically opposed to musicals as a genre can be. That said I enjoyed The Sound of Music immensely. The songs were very moving and fit the storyline perfectly. Speaking of the story, unlike the case in a lot of musicals, the plot in The Sound of Music does not exist simply to move the film from one musical number to another. | I like this as a classic musical. The songs fit well with the dialogue and story. The costumes are incredible. This has always been a favorite remake of Pygmalion set to music. |
