| I did a blind buy on the Blue ray version, and its a good thing that I'm a fan of the movie (but then who else would buy this in any format) because the DNR makes the faces smooth and washes out most of the detail, its so clean it looks unnatural. This should be a $10 catalog buy. |

| I recently bought the Scream boxset for a very good price. I watched the first one and I was highly disappointed. The references to other movies got annoying and I hated the cast. I prefer 70's and 80's horror to most of the junk in horror today. It had a few good scenes but wasnt too impressed.

| I almost gave up hope this was ever going to DVD, but it's finally here.
This movie is funny beyond belief....a crazy comedy. I remember watching this film late one night because there was nothing else on. This is my favorite stupid horror spoof of all time. | If you're a fan of the tv show, you might be really disappointed in this one if you're looking for more of the same thing. The tone, pacing, and overall feel are very different.
The original movie is much more of a comedy and a bit of a silly one at that. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's much more for a fan of fun 80s movies thatn for the BTVS series.
