| As a person who first watched this when it came out, I have been waiting years for the release on DVD. I also bought 5 copies (it makes a great present). It is still a great story for the whole family. |

| I did not see this movie when it first came out. So, I thought I'd get a copy and watch it. I thouroughly enjoy the Waltons TV show, so I was a little surprised to see different people playing Father and Mother Walton and Granpa. But I think they did a good job af portraying the characters. Almost as good as the ones on the show. I really enjoyed the Baldwin sisters in this version as well. Great Christmas movie. I am glad I bought it. |

| I ordered the Christmas Cottage DVD and we watched it on Thanksgiving with the family. I am very disappointed and feel it should have been rated PG-13 as a lot of the content was embarrassing to watch with children. The nativity was mocked and made fun of, the young women with so much breast showing was deplorable and embarrassing to watch with the men in our family, in addition to the sexual innuendos, excessive cursing... | I've watched this series over and over. If you have the slightest interest in Superman, you don't want to miss this saga. I will admit, there are a few episodes every season that hiccup the main plot, but the cast of characters makes you angry, sad, and happy. You owe yourself to give it a try. Buy the whole series through season 7 and keep watching the tv program. It won't last forever. |

| This movie is perfection in every way. It is so perfect that I never get tired of watching it over and over again. We really have the impression of living in Jane Austen's time when watching that movie. All the actors are brilliant, above all Allison Steadman who is superb as Mrs. Bennet.
