| I'm sure the set is fine; I give it two stars because the packaging was so poorly designed that the cardboard arcs in the disc 2 and 3 slots for each season left identical perfect arcs dented into the discs, making it unwatchable; we just sent it back and bought the rest of the seasons we needed separately. This type of packaging also makes it difficult to remove and replace the discs without scuffing them. Maybe our situation was unique, or the seller had too many things stacked on top of the ... | One of the very funny lines comes from an officer watching through binoculars as Nick Holden brings a boat load of nurses back to the sub from a bombed island: "Wow -- now that's what I call scavenging!" The officer is played by Dick Sargent, the second Darin on "Bewitched."

| This movie is always on the top of my list. If you are a fan of the military classics, this is a must-have for your collection. Henry Fonda played this role in the play before the movie was made, so, his portrayal of Mr. Roberts is flawless.
The story is both heart-wrenching & hilarious at the same time. I, personally, cannot get enough of the crew posted on "The Bucket". |

| I can relate to this movie STRIPES because i was in basic training in feb of 1981. the film was made 2 months before i got there my platoon sgt and staff sgt were extras in the movie. its a great movie |

| Johnny Tremain was a tiny Disney movie on early American History (or was it myth?). Yet it captured the minds and hearts of kids and adults of the time and helped spread some historic culture throughout the land.
Having said that, the modern perspective of things has changed all this and by today's standards it is at best a nice little adventure movie, but nothing more. Many inaccuracies and liberties with historic fact have made it into what it is: a nice escapist movie. Read More: |

| This is the best show in the world. It's that simple. I didn't find a thing wrong with it. And the laugh track is a cool bonus. If you like M*A*S*H but your not getting your fill of it on tv then this is what you want. I've said it once and I'll say it again this is the best show in the world. If I could I would give it ten stars. Same goes for all the seasons. |
