| Anything that could have been funny about this movie was overshadowed by a scene I wish I could scrub from my memory. I never needed to see the fat guy (to be crude) masturbating and a sodomy scene between him and Borat. Unless you want to live with that image, don't get this movie. |

| This is the best movie ever. I have watched it over and over and over again and never get sick of it. It is so hilarious that you have to buy it because you will want to see it again and again. |

| Great movie which basically does for community theater what Spinal Tap did to rock and roll.
Not quite as well done as Best in Show or a Mighty Wind, but still a classic. |

| I thought this movie was fun mainly because I love all Christopher Guest movies,they are always full of subtle satire and the actors all act so natural as though they are just adlibbing most of it. The mighty wind was just another typical Guest satire on the folk music industry with all of its nerdiest and silly type casts the Guest loves to exploit and have fun with. Alot of fun and worth watching over in case you missed something the first time. |

| There's more interesting wildlife in San Francisco than you might imagine.
I vividly remember going to this movie in San Francisco. About a week later walking about a block from the Embarcadero Cinema, I hear this tremendous squawking sound from the trees. I look up to see these parrots flying around a block away from where I saw them in the movie. A friend of mine saw the whole flock as he was driving down Columbus Avenue. | I had high hopes for this set. I thought the first one was hilarious, and the Superman/Jon Peters and Prince stories were priceless. This second set just doesn't have the same chops. Smith rambles more but ends up in fewer places, and the "topical" material seemed very dated, even when it was first released. | The filmmakers were wise not to do a voiceover here, as none was needed. The images and clips speak for themselves. Sometimes you will laugh, but the laughter will stick in your throat. If you think the fearmongering, propaganda, and outright fabrications sound familiar, they should. The Cold War has simply been updated for our times.
