| For all its hip dialogue and contemporary ideologies, "10 Things I Hate About You" uses a plot so ancient that the very thought of it conjures up images of studio executives passing out scripts made of papyrus scrolls. Amazingly enough, thanks to a few smart touches and a competent cast, the film retains an undeniable charm that is felt throughout most of the movie.

| Real Genius was the 1st time I saw Val Kilmer. He is very funny. At a school for genius young people, you see how some of them cope with their skills. Val was once a very serious student & almost went brain dead. Now he copes by being a funny goof-off. I enjoyed the antics & behaviors that are brought out of these real genius's. |

| I am a high school teacher, that being said, I decided on the last day of
school that as a treat we would watch a movie. I borrowed Napoleon Dynamite from my brothers vast DVD collection. I had no idea what the movie was about but my students told me it was funny. I looked it up on IMDB to see its rating. It is PG because of the word "piss" and a man selling breast enlargement pills. Pretty tame stuff in this day and age. I watched it three times in one day. | I bought this movie because I remembered watching it when I was younger, and thought my son might like to see it. He, and I have watched it about 7 or 8 times since we received it. He loves it as much as I did when I was his age. John Cusack is so funny! It really is a great movie if you like over the top comedy. |

| I don't think there is enough space in this review window to do this movie justice! This is the movie that helped launch the careers of such celebrated comedians like Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn! And man do they earn their honors with this movie! I think one of the things that makes this movie so widely loved is that it identifies with college students as well as people in their later 20s and 30s.
