| First, I must frown on Amazon.com for bumping this from $8.99 up to $13.99. DO NOT think $13.99 is a great deal because it was quite cheaper just a week ago. I say wait until you find it cheaper and don't give Amazon the satisfaction of ganking you for more money. BOGUS!
As for the movie, I enjoyed it much more than I was expecting. The clothes were plentiful and cool and of course they pushed in more by having Carrie have a little fashion show in her apartment and a Wedding dress ... Read More: |

| We expected the best from a movie with Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr starring in it. We love Ben Stiller movies and we love movies with Jack Black - until this one. When I read the reviews, I was sure this was a winner of a comedy. From the head spurting blood to the head on the end of Ben Stiller's bayonet, we did not find one laugh. | I loved the series and I have all of them on DVD and still watch them quite often, so I was very excited when I saw the movie was coming out. I rushed to get the DVD and I will watch it when I want to have a day of watching Sex and the City, the series and the movie. I hope they make another movie to follow this one. |

| So the Holiday is a typical romantic comedy and the outcome is predictable but it is fun to watch and will keep your girlfriend snuggled up close. There are some claissic moments that everyone should enjoy. For the price on Amazon it's certainly worth owning. |

I found it insulting that the audience could believe that there exists a professional woman in NYC completely obsessed with everything that is shallow about weddings in such a way that she has time to attend/coordinate them and be so close to 27 brides that she gets asked to be in their wedding party.
