| The movie is extraordinary. I hate the Blue-ray version of the movie! Save your money... vhs or dvd better represent the original. The Blue-ray version has been butchered! Black and white movies colorized is off my list also... And would someone please tell me how to start the movie without the previews and introductions? | I absolutely love this movie and the special features. It is action packed so there is never a lull, and it pulls on your heart-strings. It is a true story and for once, a movie actually got close to the truth. For some who were actually in Somalia serving our country, this movie may be a little hard to watch, my ex boyfriend could never watch this film because it was too realistic and brought back too many memories. But because it is realistic it is a great movie. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes true stories, drama, and war movies. |

| This film is very close to the nerve centers of practically all Marines because it so very realistically depicts their experiences in either boot camp and/or Vietnam. There isn't one that didn't feel a mysterious tingle in the back of his neck and a shiver down his spine when he first heard Lee Ermy calling cadence in the boot camp segment of the movie. Nuf said about the film except to say that the video and audio transfer to blu-ray is outstanding. The anamorphic treatment that allows it to fit 16X9 TVs is excellent. | Typical sly action movie. Quite funny the way rambo tries to be all philosophical. No great message no great action. Rambo as usual kills hundreds single handedly. If you have couple of hours to kill and nothing else is on tv, rent it. |

| I'm watching the movie as I type this and I gotta say, I agree completely with Flightjunkie's comments. I have an aviation background so of course I wasn't expecting to learn anything new in an IMAX movie of all places but jeez, this film insults my intelligence. I was expecting *at least* some spiffy in-flight shots to show off my HD setup but I'm *extremely* disappointed to find that many, many of the shots have been tampered with in post-production.
