| quick no fuss shipping. Bogie and Becall the signiture collection is very high quality copy. The double feature of THE BIG SLEEP was an added extra bonous. We love watching the older great films. This was definately four of the old greats. This time frame from hollywood by far their greatest time and will not be repeated. I would recomend this to anyone who loves the old classics. | I LOVEloveLOVE this set of movies! I'm a huge Cary Grant fan. 2 of my CG faves are in this set. For the price, you really cannot go wrong.
In Mr Blandings, it's so much fun to see CG play a perpetually frustrated husband and father going through a crazy house renovation once they decide to move their family from their crowded city apt to a roomier home in the country. | The movies are exactly as described. Not sure if it was worth the price I paid though. I was hoping that there was a feature on the dvds to allow it to be either black and white or color , but there wasn't. Only in black and white. I saw them in color on tcm once, I thought it was great. Not sure where to find them though. The treasure of the sierra madre is one of my all time favorites. The main reason I bought the set. |

| The best DVD in this boxset is "San Francisco", an incredible movie with great DVD special features. The chemistry between Clark Gable and Jeanette MacDonald is pure magic.
My 3 star rating of this set is due to the selection of films contained in it. Boomtown wasn't bad, but it's kinda hokey. Wife VS secretary wasn't Gable's best either. This set would have been phenomenal if it included "Red Dust", "Mutiny on the bounty", and Gables final film "The misfits". While the selection of films aren't my favorite, I do appreciate ...
