| The World at War (30th Anniversary Edition)
I have purchased many DVDs about WW2 and this one sits near or at the top of the list. The 50 minute episodes make it easy to keep track of the many events during WW2. The episodes are interesting and informative. The series has excellent footage and the narration by Sir Laurence Olivier is top notch. The recent price reduction really makes it an exceptional value. I think it is a "must" purchase for any WW2 or history buff. |

| I first saw Blue Planet on the Discovery channel... years ago and I absolutely fell in love with it. It is one of the most beautifully filmed documentaries and I think only Planet Earth (ironically) surpasses it in that beauty. I have also always loved David Attenborough, who has a way of really bringing the majesty of whatever you are watching into your home. This series is educational and beautiful to the point of tears. This is a must for any DVD library and I would highly recommend Planet Earth as well. |

| This movie was incredible and is a must see for anyone who cares about nature at all.
The lengths that the filmakers went through to capture this footage is astounding and paid off well. It is relatively low-key and the narration adds to this sense. Nothing outrageous or over the top like you sometimes hear on various nature shows. Freeman just relays the story perfectly an the visuals of the movie carry so much. | This is, to use an overused term, a must-see documentary. Moore powerfully shows how bad the U.S. health care system is at this time. He shows how different (and) better things are in European countries with "socialized" medicine. If Sicko doesn't convince you that we need health care reform nothing will. Having said this, I disagree with Moore's sanguine view of Cuba's health care system. The World Health Organization actually rates Cuba's system as worse than ours. Notwithstanding this criticism, I highly recommend Sicko. |

| I have found my favorite new movie!!!
Words cannot express how great a movie "Young at Heart" is. If you watch this movie and are not moved, you must see a doctor to see if your heart still beats. This is one of the most joyous movies I have seen in a long time. This movie made me cry and laugh, and at all times felt completely genuine in its intention.This is one time when 5 stars are not enough. This movie cannot be missed!!! |
