| I don't have much to say, that hasn't already been said in previous reviews. I first saw this program on public television and it left me feeling very moved and inspired. I wanted to see it again and share it with all my friends!!! I was absolutely repulsed by the greed of the Nazi party. I guess I never realized the extent of the pillaging! It only made me hate them more and hope that the historical places on this earth never have to suffer war again! |

| I can't imagine buying this lightweight biography of Barack Obama. I was interested to learn about the man's childhood and his rise to power, but found myself wanting a good deal more. For one thing, there's little critique at all. I'm an ardent Obama supporter, but I would have appreciated a more well-rounded discussion. Furthermore, the producers might have bothered to discuss his legislation, his political philosophy, and his place with regard to the major issues of the day. | This is very well put together. If you don't respect Obama before you see this, you will after you watch it. It let me know that he can relate to middle-class & lower class people. | I like Bob Dylan's music somewhat, but I would be far from being a real fan. I also understand his general place in pop culture and the history of music. So I decided to watch this.
I am so happy I did, it is an incredible movie down by Scorsese. Many things I did not know (though fans may have already known) and it was put together beautifully. An engaging look at the man and the legend surrounding him during a time I did not know much about. Highly recommended for any music fan. |
