| This is a nice set - containing all the various versions of the movie. While it is the Director's least favorite, I was pleased to see the original theatrical release including the Harrison Ford voice over. All the movies are in high-def though all the bonus material is not. The "final cut" is nicely done and worth a viewing. |

| I just finished watching this for the first time in a long time. This is an EXCELLENT film noir. Its not often a modern day noir hits the jackpot but this did. Shot back in the day when Noirs were being made like crazy. The pace is swift, the acting is fantastic, all the stars were perfect in their roles. Excellent story. | A big "Citizen Kane" fan in my youth, I saw Touch of Evil in 1981 and thought it was simply awful. Then recently I heard of this reissue, and thought I'd buy it and watch it again. I discovered that in our youth we often know what's right, but often doubt ourselves. The movie is still awful. It may be more true to Welle's vision, but it's still awful. His talent had gone, quite obviously, by this time.

| Double Indemnity is my first experience in traditional film noir and i quite enjoyed it. The film stood out to me in a number of ways, mostly the unique story and the look of the film. Double Indemnity's story was unique largely because the protagonist in many ways didn't seem to be a good person. | I love the picture quality of this great DVD set and also the commentaries on all of the movies. These are movies I can watch over and over again and never get tired of. Along with the commentaries they are a pretty good education in film noir. |
