| I was lucky enough to snag this set on a Gold Box deal for $69.99, but I would have happily paid twice as much for the hours of fantastic viewership this set has provided. My much beloved Seasons 1 and 2 were just as great as I remembered, and I got to catch a lot of later season episodes that I missed the first (or second) time around. Witty, entertaining, angsty good television - say what you will, I'm thrilled with my purchase. |

| If you wish Lon Chaney were still alive and acting, or that he could have tried to sing a little bit when he was, this is the film for you. The sets and costumes are opulent, the casting is spot-on and the effects are dazzling. Most of all, the film owes its brilliance to the dark genius of Tim Burton. | As a huge fan of the X-Files and as someone who was disappointed by the 2nd movie, I was looking forward to watching the "extended cut" of the movie offered in this special edition set. In articles about the movie's production, Chris Carter moaned about Fox saying the movie couldn't run longer than an hour and a half and talked about having to cut the movie down quite quickly. | Al Gore would probably like this movie, but Michelle Polk rates it at zero! A gory movie which made little sense. Oh, I get the whole propaganda theme but the movie itself was just stupid. Suicide after suicide is committed because the plants are angry with humans. It might make a good sci-fi book but to watch those scenes over and over was just too rough! |

| This series is mind blowing. The characters and the character development, the criss-crossing story lines and ALL surrounding the mysterious death of a high school student...
This box is worth owning just for the "perks". The original introductions to each episode by "Log Lady" (which are optional), and the International Version of the "pilot" episode which is a whole 30 minutes longer and has an alternate ending to the series...
