| So the Holiday is a typical romantic comedy and the outcome is predictable but it is fun to watch and will keep your girlfriend snuggled up close. There are some claissic moments that everyone should enjoy. For the price on Amazon it's certainly worth owning. |

| I cannot believe how many women actually like this movie. I found it insulting that the audience could believe that there exists a professional woman in NYC completely obsessed with everything that is shallow about weddings in such a way that she has time to attend/coordinate them and be so close to 27 brides that she gets asked to be in their wedding party. | Ok - you know the premise of the movie - he loves the bride/bestfriend and wants to stop the wedding. I loved the Scotland parts but the rest of the movie was just average. It is PG-13 for a reason - lots & lots of talk about sex and a few tame bed scenes. Rent don't buy... |

| Another crude movie comes out of Hollywood. Not only was it completely tasteless, but the story was poorly written and the film was poorly executed along with terrible acting and even worse sound/music quality. Why are we allowing our brains to be fed this diet of junk? Maybe if we all stop watching such crass movies, the writers will be forced to come up with something wholesome and meaningful as well as entertaining. Is that too much to ask? |

| If you want a comedy, a real comedy that deals with a lot of the questions many face in their daily lives, than this is a movie for you!
First of all, the entire cast is superb. Every character in this movie plays off of every other character so well, at times you may forget that you're watching a movie and feel like you're actively THERE with these guys! | An angel comes to visit a bishop for Christmas, to guide him away from material things and toward a higher purpose.
With Cary Grant as the angel, this should be a better movie. But poor direction from Henry Koster and a disappointing performance from Grant leave it lacking. There's so much room for magic in this movie, but instead we get a heavy dose of cheap special effects.
