| This DVD is excellent and perfect for learning at home. Being a teacher myself, I found it to be very well constructed and easy to follow the instructions. Being a DVD it is ideal to stop-and-start each lesson while you do as instructed. If you don't understand anything you can always go back again to the previous lesson. Heaps cheaper than attending a face-to-face class and you've always got the tutor right there at the push of a button! Highly recommended. |

| I remember first seeing this in VHS form MANY years ago, and I enjoyed it. More as a cheerleading device than an article of information. Even when I first saw it, I realized from comic books I was reading at the time, that many of the things being said about comics in general, and Marvel specifically, were simply not true anymore. The "Marvel Way" being viewed and discussed is the way of 1970. The way of John Buscema and Jack Kirby.

| I thought this Dvd would be off the hook but it's just OK. I feel like he could have given more depth details and maybe expand some of the chapters. This DVD is divided into 12 chapters. Each chapter has its own exercises, which i think they were good(not all of them). The teaching is Mainly about looking for simple shapes, Lines, Tones, Light and Shadows, Perspective and Landscapes. | I purchased this CD under the impression that it would be just right for a beginner like myself. What I learned was a lot of drawing jargon. This is not a step-by-step for beginners. The young lady does not demonstrate step-by-step (from fruitition to completion) but tells you more about drawing than showing you. It would have been better as an audio lesson. I am keeping it because after the CD I am now purchasing, I will better understand what she is trying to teach. |

| We purchased this DVD as a gift for my 12 year old stepdaughter. She had it in the DVD player with her paper out and ready to go within two hours. The drawings that she did looked great, and we could tell that she was excited to learn new techniques for horse drawing. The artist (Cordi, I guess) went through all of the basic steps and built on previously established skills.
