| In season four, this series really starts to click. The stories are more substantive, the writing is better, even Jenny is (slightly) less annoying. I really liked and miss Dana, but new characters and the growth of Max and Helena really make up for losing her. The best addition is Marlee Maitlan as Jody, a terrific actress anytime, but she shines as the controversial and hot blooded artist who finally makes Bette grow up a little. |

| In this season you can tell the cast is beginning to grow tired of the show. The writing is also not at it's best. However, this still remains one of the best shows to grace the T.V. screen. There are a few standout episodes and the characters begin preparing for Season 8, their final season. I particularly felt 'Grace' led many of the episodes in the season. | Unfortunately when the Will and Grace series first viewed on prime time we were watching something else. Then the series was syndicated and was shown on Lifetime. My partner and I had evening jobs so when we got home we could unwind and watch the series as reruns. However Lifetime did not show them in sequence. We wanted to watch the characters grow throughout the 7 seasons. At the beginning of the series the actors seemed rather stiff and typed cast. | I love Will & Grace but when looking at Season 3 I realized that there were so few episodes. However, when I looked at the listing on the box, I realized that I hadn't seen half of the shows listed.
Thanks to the previous reviewer, I was able to navigate the an obscure place on each disc to view all of the episodes that I had missed. Very poor Menu graphics! |

| I love watching this show on DVD. However, I agree with the other reviewers that season 3 took some wrong directions. Seasons 1 and 2 focused on character introduction and development. In the third season several unlikeable characters are introduced and the personalities of existing players became unlikeable. The one exception is Bette Porter, whose emotionality was slightly constrained this season.
