| I purchased the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD for my grandduaghter and she loved watching it, even though she was to young to understand what she was learning. When she was 2 years old, she could say her alphabet, recognize the letters and knew the sounds of each letter. She now has the talking words and is enjoying watching this one. We've only had it for a few weeks so I am anxious to see what she learns from this DVD. |

| This video (along with all the other Leap Frog Videos) is amazing. "When two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking," is one of the main ideas. It is great for beginning readers. I have a 2nd grader, Kindergartner, and preschooler...they all love this video. |

| I started showing these DVDs to my daughter when she was 7 months. She was reading from flashcards at 1, sounding out words at 18 months and reading books at 2. My 8 month old is watching them now and she really enjoys them. She smiles and waves her arms.
My older child is now 3. One thing that amazes me is that she has better reading skills than 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders I have heard reading. I'm not sure if learning earlier improves reading ability or if there is something about this method. Read More: |

| I saw this on TV and it amazed me. This movie is so bad that it's actually really funny and entertaining. The puppets are terrible, the jokes are cheesy, and Jack Black gives an appropriately over the top performance. You can all but see him winking at the camera saying "I know this is awful, but let's make the most of it, shall we?"
I recommend this to anyone who likes B movies. |

| This is fairly good for a child just introduced to phonics and letter blending. It uses the blended letter sounds, as well as taking away a letter and adding a different letter in order to make a new word. We have only watched it once thus far; so, my review is not the greatest, sorry. BTW - I loved Sesame Street as a child and now my 5-year-old loves it also:-) |

| I rate this DVD a five because it has served it's purpose for my child. She will be two years old (on September 29, 2007) and she has known her alphabet since she was 20 months, thanks to ALL STAR ALPHABET. Yes, the music is corny at first, but after hearing the songs everyday I found myself singing right along with her. If you show intrest in the DVD, then so will your child. | This video does not really tie anything concrete to each letter which made it difficult for my child to retain the sound each letter makes. It also does not spend a lot of time helping your child learn each letter/sound before jumping into these silly quizzes about putting sounds together and asking what sound certain words begin with. We then bought the Leapfrog Letter Factory, and within 2 weeks my son knew all of his letters and sounds. Skip this one and go with a quality video.
