| I bought this dvd at 4 weeks (I know, very early!) and have been using it for the last 6 weeks, along with her sister's, vol. 2 and Pilates during Pregnancy. I have not had extreme morning sickness, but I certainly haven't been feeling like myself. Before I became pregnant I would classify myself as an intermediate in workouts, I typically do calisthenics and pilates at home on dvd. | I normally use Leslie Sanson's "Walk Away the Pounds" for about 30 minutes of light-moderate exercise. When I got pregnant, I thought it might be a good idea to switch to a workout specifically geared towards pregnancy. While it's certainly worth assessing your current workout to make sure it is safe, this one wasn't worth the money. I went back to "Walk Away the Pounds" after one workout with this video! | I am so glad I got this DVD. I have several other prenatal yoga DVDs (Shiva Rea) and Kristen Eykiel (Yoga for your pregnancy). While those videos are good for when you want a nice relaxed practice, if you are an experienced yogini they can be too easy. This DVD is great because you get a real workout, it's like a regular vinyasa class modified for pregnancy.
The instructor is great too. |

| Overall I like this DVD. She is high energy but not annoying...and she really gets you moving! I was actually surprised at some of the exercises - lots and lots of squats. But since she is pregnant too, it inspires you to keep up. |

| I was already 5 months pregnant when I bought this video and it sat on my desk for another month before I actually used it, so I thought that I may be too out of shape to jump into it. However, it was a pleasant surprise to find that I was able to get through both exercise sections. The DVD is split into two sections, so if you're a beginner you can just start with the first part and then gradually work in the second one. | I really like this video - you can do each of the 10 minute segments separately or together as one workout. They are not too easy or too hard, and short enough to not get boring, as many pilates videos are. There is weight training, which is very nice and the girl in it is not at all annoying (another very common problem with workout videos). I've done it since I was only 18 weeks (I'm 25 now) and should be able to continue throughout the entire pregnancy. The stretches help with back pain too! |

| Great pregnancy workout for all fitness levels and stages of pregnancy! This is my favorite pregnancy workout DVD because it's challenging yet relaxing. I have enjoyed doing pilates (classes and DVD workouts) for a few years now, and I like how Tracey Mallett incorporates pilates, yoga, and light weight training for a well-rounded workout. I also like how the DVD is broken up into different segments, so I can do the whole thing if I have the time, or just 1-2 segments. I highly recommend this one!! |
