| This production is a beautiful show to watch. The cast is exciting, but so little French. So, if you do not pay too much attention to the pronunciation, then you will enjoy the creamy and lyric voice of Ms Netrebko, who portrays a strong Manon, dedicated to pleasure (see L'hotel de Transylvanie act). | I bought this DVD (Volume 2) because I loved Volume 1 so much. I consider myself a big fan, but I now realize I must not be dedicated enough to enjoy the contents of this collection. Overall, this is a great set for very committed, die-hard fans, featuring two spectacular, ground-breaking live performances and some very rare music videos. | I bought this product years ago in the late 1990's for my son. His school's librarian celebrated Dr. Seuss Day, so I gave my VHS tape to her so the kids could enjoy it. Recently, I was thinking about it and purposed to find it again to buy. I was so pleased to find it on DVD, even though I would have bought a VHS to play it on. I simply love this DVD! I am forty-five years old, but true Seuss fans understand that his work appeals to kids of every age. I grew up on Dr. Seuss!! |
