| As a young boy growing up during the Cold War era- when air raid drills were routine -I couldn't wait to get home to watch this program. The fear of Soviet spies or a nuclear holocaust we very real and added to the intensity of this show, especially episodes like "The Photographer" where the IM force creates a haunting panorama of a destroyed landscape to, once again, psychologically fool their adversary.

| The first two seasons of Simon & Simon are definitely the weakest of the entire series. It got much grittier and tougher as the show continued.
Season 1 is still a lot of fun to watch ! |

| It was just great seeing what I always felt was one the the more exiciting show of the time.The show always seemed to cover not only a moral thought but it was never preachy. It alway showed that anyone can make a mistake but could come back from it.Bill Shatner is the man, who could not fall in love with that boyish grin. | By my calculation, one can order the 5 seasons separately (the 1-3 set, plus the 4th and 5th) for approximately sixty-three dollars less than the cost of this set.
How stupid do they think we are? To be fair, I do not own this set. Does it come in a gold-inlaid wooden box or some such? Somehow, I doubt it. If it came in a attache case complete with replica self-destructing tape player, it still wouldn't be worth it. |

| If I could give you more stars for this DVD, I would. When the program first aired in 1986, I enjoyed watching the 60's set in Chicago and Las Vegas. The music brought back great memories and the cars were those we used to dream about and wished we could have. (I wish I could have one of them to-day.) I was sorry when this "Classic" show ended but am happy to be able to enjoy it again. Reproduction is far greater to-day than it was when I first watched it and it's great to do without the commercials. |

I have very fond memories of wanting to be a Deputy and help people like the stars of this all but, unfortunatly, forgotten show. I have been waiting for years to see this come out on DVD. Hopefully it does very soon, and hopefully the video and audio quality will be high. |
