Get Smart was one of the top 5 TV comedies of all time, maybe one of the top five shows of any genre. After somehow never being released in VHS, the series was finally released in DVD. The negative is that it was released as the complete series with a price tag that was higher per season than the subsequent release of season one. The positive is that it's now down to $110 on Amazon which is a little more reasonable. Hopefully HBO Home Video will get smart and release the remaining seasons individually ... Read More:

Mark Twain Tonight is now a valued item in my personal library of classics. One of my professors at college was inspired to impersonate Mark Twain based on this performance. I would highly recommend this educational & entertaining dvd for anyone who wants more than Hollywood mindless entertainment.

The only thing that saddens me about this movie, aside from the heartbreaking climax of a brutal attack that you must simply see to savor, along with the fact that this priceless artifact never made it to the "Big Screen" was poor advertising.

If this movie had been properly advertised, I would have been PERFECT for it's time, making movies like "Making Love," "Parting Glances", and "'Broke Back Mountain"

Harvey Fierstein wrote, directed, and produced this Broadway adaption of his fine work from the stage, ... Read More:

Ok, I like George Burns's first "Oh God" film. "Oh God Two" was lumpy weak sequel. I expected George Burns playing both God and the Devil would be interesating...It's Hell to swallow!

A young boy's father is asked GOD to watch over him...God says I hope he (the boy) isn't another disappointment (Foreshadowing what going to happen to the max)

The boy grows up into Ted Wass character, Billy Shelton-a Struggling musician who career is floundering and says "I would sell my very soul to the devil to make it". (Can you ... Read More:

"Television's Golden Age," the 1950s, gets that moniker because the best of that decade's live drama anthologies -- such as "Playhouse 90," "Studio One" and "Kraft Television Theater," featured innovative plays that made insightful comments about contemporary life.

Though "Enemy of the People" aired on National Educational Television (the precursor of PBS) in 1966, Arthur Miller's adaptation of the Ibsen classic feels like an extension of the "golden" era.

In the Norway of the 1880s, an idealistic doctor (James Daly ... Read More:

Based upon the positive reviews, as a Michelle Pfeiffer fan I purchased this movie. Wow, am I sorry. The movie is actually two poorly edited, non-intertwining SHORT stories. To be truthful, I feel bad for Michelle, who clearly tried her best. As for this being an unrated movie, I can not begin to guess why--it is a GP (at worst, and really just a G) movie. I'd be happy to send you my copy for postage.

Update--1 July 2008: If this review was not helpful to you, I would appreciate learning the reason(s) so I can improve my reviews. ... Read More:
