| I really enjoy this movie. The sexual tension between Anne Hathaway's and James McAvoy's characters is amazing. If you are a fan of Jane Austen, I would definitely recommend you see this movie. However, true Jane Austen fans will undoubtedly know how the movie ends, which is a drawback. |

| The film is quite epic as it's filmed in the UK, Venice and Morocco and there are so many beautiful locations indoor and outdoor, "Brideshead Revisited" is rather ambitious. Each person is cast pretty well with Matthew Goode, having to use less dialogue and reading his emotions through his facial expressions. | This latest version of Dickens' sprawling novel of love, jealousy, betrayal, and redemption is a faithful (or as much as possible, even in a 3-hr production) rendering. It is well cast, with Ioan Gruffudd as the most handsome Pip on film, and Charlotte Rampling giving her usual regal performance as Miss Havisham.

| "Fitz," played by Robbie Coltrane, is a very interesting and engaging character. He's an amazing criminal psychologist and often more right about a case, profile, and motives than others might accept, but his own life is a mess. If you enjoy police drama that's a bit different and actually explains why crimials do what they do, then Cracker is for you.

| To much emphasis was placed on the private lives of the soldiers. David Jason, although a good actor, was mis-cast. His age and physique was not in keeping the era portrayed. Another thing was that there was too much supposition on the fate of the soldiers ending. Were they killed in cold blood or was that theory. |
