| Elf is simply one of the best holiday movies EVER. I put this one right up there with A Christmas Story, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the very programme to which Elf plays homage.

| I am so happy this dvd was in great condition. It was a preplayed/pre-viewed DVD from Blockbuster, but that is okay I always buy preplayed/pre-viewed, and the price was great. I brought the same movie from a pawn shop cause i could not find it but it turned out to be $5 more and did not work anyway and I could not return it. Then I checked on amazon and there it was and cheaper!!! I am very pleased. My kids love this movie. Thank you. |

| A really funny movie with an interesting premise. A human raised as an elf at the North Pole is introduced to life in New York City as he learns that he's not really an elf and that his real father is on Santa's "naughty" list. Much of the comedy comes from how this grown man acts like a kid because he doesn't know any better. |

Jumanji is pretty good but the special effects are pretty hokey.(Which is good for unintended laughs, but not if you want true escapist entertainment)Zathura is really belivable, however, and that's a really big deal for a sci-fi. They used old-school effects like explosives and models whenever they got the chance, instead of everything being CGI.I would recommend Zathura---and maybe Jumanji. |

| Purchased this movie along with the board game for my grandsons. They loved it and the movie brought the board game to life. Would recommend purchasing both. My grandsons had a lot of fun. |
