| Seriously, there is so much mindless drivel on tv that this series should NEVER have been cancelled! Well acted (personally I believe that Donnie Wahlberg is as good as his brother, he just doesn't get the big roles), well directed, neat camera angels. Just all around good.
I'm looking into downloading the few episodes from the doomed season 2. This series is well worth the money and multiple viewings. |

Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert Redford do an absolutely fantastic job of playing their characters in such a way that you forget that they are just acting. Their chemistry and romance are very believable. The timing of the film (from present to past, etc.) is flawless and doesn't get confusing as it can in some movies. | Excellent film/documentary on the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. A must see for history buffs and anyone wanting to know more about WWII and the Holocaust. Very moving and leaves the viewer with a deep admiration for the brave men and women that, while knowing they could not defeat the Nazis, still preferred to fight until death. |
