Used Price: $7.49

The Bottom Line:

This first outing by Timothy Dalton impresses on almost every level, from its hard-edged Bond to its (mostly) serious plot to its villainous villains; distinctly underrated in almost every quarter, The Living Daylights is a film worth seeking out.

2.For Your Eyes Only starring: Roger Moore, Carole Bouquet, Topol, Lynn-Holly Johnson, Julian Glover
directed by: John Glen (II)
February 06, 2007
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

DVD : For Your Eyes Only
List Price: $14.98

Used Price: $4.18

Excellent quality for the price paid (it was a used DVD), picture and audio were terrific. Story-line was typical James Bond, lots of action, in this case, mostly underwater. It was a bit dated, but the person I purchased this movie for absolutely loves James Bond films, and requested it on his Amazon gift list. We tried it out on our new Blu-Ray player, and it played perfectly! I am very satisfied with it.

3.Licence To Kill starring: Timothy Dalton, Carey Lowell, Robert Davi, Talisa Soto, Anthony Zerbe

Used Price: $4.43

Worst Bond flick ever. I own all the others, sure glad I rented this one. The scene where a semi trailer is tilted to one side to run with only one set of wheels still on the pavement to avoid a missile is the defining moment of how cheesy this movie is.

4.A View to a Kill starring: Roger Moore, Christopher Walken, Tanya Roberts, Grace Jones, Patrick Macnee
directed by: John Glen (II)
October 17, 2000
Average Rating: out of 5 stars
>>More Details
DVD : A View to a Kill
The Bottom Line:

Long-in-the-tooth Roger Moore stars in an uninspired Bond entry that lifts large portions of its plot directly from its (better) predecessors; A View to a Kill has little to offer aside from a catchy theme and an interesting Bond girl in Grace Jones' Mayday

5.Iron Eagle III - Aces starring: Louis Gossett Jr., Rachel McLish, Paul Freeman, Horst Buchholz, Christopher Cazenove
directed by: John Glen (II)
October 05, 2004
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

DVD : Iron Eagle III - Aces
List Price: $19.98
Childrens Bookshop Price: $17.99
You Save: $1.99 (10%)

Used Price: $4.24

Aces: Iron Eagle III Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr hits a new career low by returning for this entry, which is among the most unintentionally funny movies I've ever seen. The recipe for this cinematic disaster takes a director with some good credits on his resume (John Glen-director of five James Bond movies) and puts him in charge of an eclectic cast which includes Horst Bucholz (The Magnificent Seven), Paul Freeman (Raiders of the Lost Ark) Sonny Chiba (The Streetfighter), and Rachel McLish (who looks great but can't deliver ... 6.Octopussy starring: Roger Moore, Maud Adams, Louis Jourdan, Kristina Wayborn, Kabir Bedi
directed by: John Glen (II)
October 17, 2000
Average Rating: out of 5 stars
>>More Details
DVD : Octopussy
"Octopussy" (1983) suffers from the same kitchen-sink approach that brought down "Moonraker." Despite a few impressive action sequences, this 007 caper remains as tired as Roger Moore's aging spy. The Ian Fleming spirit that briefly resurfaced in "For Your Eyes Only" has vanished. Instead, we're back to the slapstick silliness and lackluster villains of earlier Moore outings. Though an EON production, "Octopussy" was far less Bondian than Sean Connery's unofficial "Never Say Never Again."

DVD : The Point Men [Region 2]
Terrible acting. Whoever said Christopher Lambert can act should be forced to watch this movie over and over again until the truth is made quite clear: HE CANT ACT. Take what could have been a great movie like "The Sicilian" where Lambert plays the title role. He is so bad and so unconvincing as the character. I laughed out loud when he tried being emotional because he completely failed at it. As far as this movie goes Lambert sounds like he has laryngitis through the whole movie (even more so than his other films). He has the same expression through the whole movie. ... Read More:
