| OK, first off, I would never have purchasd thid DVD were it not for my wife. She'd seen some of it on one of the cable channels and raved how good it was. I got it for her on a whim.
As it turns out, this two-CD concert is great! It opens with Chcago and Towner of Power, two horn-driven bands, playing several songs together. Then they toss a coin to see who goes first and Tower of Power gets the win. I've never been a big fan of theirs, but Mr. Bailey and Co. kept my attention. ... Read More: |

| The video and audio aspects are very good. But the music itself is quite unexciting. This DVD is best served at bedtime....you'll be asleep before you know it. |

| This concert will knock your socks off! Cyndi Lauper in "Live...at Last!" delivers a performance which is engaging,powerful,wistful and blatantly sincere. I disagree with the editorial review as pertains to the critical comments on 'the standards' Cyndi covers. "If You Go Away" is heart-wrenching without being sappy, and the power with which Cyndi delivers the Chorus will rattle your teeth! | I went back and read the reviews after I could not play this DVD in my player. The description says "All Regions" so I am not happy about the error. I can play it on my MAC so I did see it and it was phenomenal... just wish they would have listed the DVD in the proper region for Europe only players!! |
