| I love this set but hate that part of the openings is missing where the narrator says, "With his faithful Indian companion Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains, led the fight for law and order in the early west. | I gave this set to my Dad for his birthday. Since he is a paramedic himself he loved them. We always watched them when we were little so it was fun reliving the good old days. Good classic TV that the whole family can enjoy!!! |

| This is an 30+ year old television series so it is a little dated. However if you like WWII shows this is a good one. |

| There are positive messages in these fine shows underneath all the wonderful foolishness.
For one thing, the power of kindness. Everybody is kind to one another. Captain Parmenter is kind to all of his men, including the lowest ranks. He's kind to the town drunk and to the gunfighter who wants to kill him. He even tames the angry renegade Bald Eagle with kindness. | As a big David Janssen fan I was looking forward to seeing something new and fresh even before The Fugitive came out.
The quality of this DVD is very poor and makes it hard to watch. Someone should take this entire series and digitally remaster it! |

| Oh, how these shows bring me back to my childhood years. I'm 32 now and I still love watching them. I only hope that my kids will enjoy them as much as I did. I wish they were all filmed in their original location (Covington, GA). I also hope that they release the reunion movies on DVD soon. I believe my hometown was mentioned a couple of times in the shows also. I'll always be a loyal Dukes of Hazzard fan!!!! |
