I love this show! It's one of those things though--if you didn't live while this show was 'on' originally, you probably think it isn't very good [to put that mildly--ew, the language I've heard!]. But, anyway--"Leave it to Beaver" is a great slice 'o life in the lives of a very typical 50's family...almost "Seinfeldesque" before there was a Seinfeld! | I was so excited to hear this was coming to DVD ( My Three Sons), but when i read the reviews here. CBS/Paramount When are you guys going to learn not to mess with customers that pay your salaries? I guess you just want to lose customers left and right, first you screwed up with The Fugitive - Season Two, Vol. 1, then The Beverly Hillbillies and now this ! get with the program, i'm to a fan of these classic shows and want an unedited version with no original music missing or scenes etc. I guess i will have ... | I was very young when this Series was produced and so I did not have the opportunity to see it as a child. However, back in the early 1980's it was re-broadcast at about 1AM on a local Seattle start up station and I caught about three episodes and was hooked! The program was soon withdrawn and I have been searching for it since. When it came up on a search here on Amazon I decided I had waited long enough and bought it on the spot!

| this is a fun collection of some old but steady Bob Hope comedies. The older ones:jesse james,princess and pirate,hong kong and personal favorite, got me covered are classic and timeless.if your a Hope fan these alone are worth the cost.the other 3 movies are a little dated but also fun to watch with the whole family. Bob Hope movies are always entertaning and seldom disapointing. |
