| Zefferelli has brought this classic love story by Shakespeare to the screen. He makes it so simple, the language, and highlights this with an exeptional cast. With Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, both young newcomers at the time, in the leads, you become entranced with their love story and conflicts. This is Shakepseare at it's best. | This video is not as biblically accurate as I was led to believe by the other reviews. I purchased this to augment my bible study teaching so I may be a little tougher on the movie then most people. Dramatic license is taken in several places because of the need to let the viewer know some of the backround as well as the portraying of the actual incidents in Jesus' life. | After seeing Olivier's version of Hamlet, I was interested in seeing this version of Hamlet. Admittedly, Mel Gibson was one-hundred percent of my impulse to see this film. I don't usually follow actors when choosing movies; I trust directors more than I trust actors in choosing movies. But Mel Gibson is an exception to this rule: when was the last time the man made a bad movie?-- I can't even think of one.

| I had to watch this movie in three different intervals because the movie was so boring. It was anticipating that this movie would answer some of my questions as to how Saints interact with God and why Saints feel they need to suffer to embrace the love of God. Since the movie was such a letdown, I drove over to my Library and checked out the Relectant Saint The Life of Francis if Assisi. | Tea with Mussolini is just plain awful. What a waste of talent with
a deplorable script that will make you cringe. It's painful to watch. What really is gaulling is that this film is available on DVD and another Maggie Smith film "The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne" is not available on DVD. Now that's a tragedy. I wish I could be more complimentary but "Tea" is such a disappointment. |

One of my 2 favorite movies, but prepare the tissues because you WILL shed a couple of tears. It's a drama so younger viewers my not appreciate it, but if you're looking for a GREAT storyline and acting, this is one to watch |

| The disc is OK - but the sound leaves something to be desired. However, I have a tape of the same concert and the sound is equally poor, so we have to blame the old-fashioned technology. However, by the time you have paid for postage and packing and then customs and VAT, the discs are very expensive. |
