| Ok, a lot of people say that Spongebob is leaning towards rock bottom, but I don't believe them. In fact, I like the new episodes better than the old ones. | This is a good DVD. I love watching the christmas episode with my daughter esapecially now that its christmas! There is also alot more episodes on the dvd that are also worth watching |

| SpongeBob SquarePants is a funny, unique, entertaining, silly and at times unrealistically catchy! I bought this for my girlfriend and kids and we end up watching it together whenever the kids put it on.

| I've loved Spongebob for years and, at 25, I'm not ashamed to say it :) This is the first season of the cartoon I've purchased and it was well worth the money. My one and two year old are head over heels for the little guy and it's great to find something that's not only entertaining for your children but for yourself as well. And, surprisingly, my husband enjoyed it too...and that's saying a lot for someone who usually can't stand kid dvd's.

| We are HUGE Spongebob fans, but have to say, this is not the best season. The writing is "off" and the subtlety is missing in a lot of these episodes. Seems like they changed Spongebob into more of a typical "cartoon" character--and his new high pitched voice with no modulation and depth of tone (as in the first two seasons) is just plain grating on the nerves.
I only bought vol. 2, since these are the least annoying episodes. The ones in vol. 1 are unbearable, so I didn't bother. |

| Friend or Foe 4 out of 5 stars: It's the history of the Krabs/Plankton rivalry! I thought this episode was interesting, for example, did anyone else know that if it weren't for Plankton the Krabby Patty would have never been invented? | This DVD was very good, and I enjoyed it throughly. But, The title episode, Pest of the West, seemed a bit rushed and not up to normal standards. also, Th Krusty Plate and Pat No Pay are both only half length, and did not create big laughs for me. The special features are very good, with some very short "episodes". If you love Spongebob, buy this right away. If you don't, you are better off with some of the first DVDs, like Nautical Nonsence. |
