This is one of the classic comedies from the 80's. The main actors Ted Knight, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield, and Chevy Chase play extremely well together. This is not brilliant comedy; however, it is knee slapping funny in numerous scenes. When Chevy Chase sings, "I was born to love you, I was born to lick your face." You can't help but laugh. Some jokes hit, some don't, but overall, this is an enjoyable comedy that is a 4-star delight to watch. Enjoy.

My review of seasons 1 to 4: Buy this set! At $15 a season for what is arguably
the finest sitcom in history it is worth it. It grew from a good if conventional first
season to something truly special in seasons 3 and 4. It had no harsh edges but
was funny and engaging and lacked false sentimentality. While mostly avoiding the
issues of the day it did present the steady growth and maturity of Mary Richards
(the lead character played by Ms. Moore) that fit the maturing ... Read More:

Psycho is a classic. But my gripe is with the way Amazon takes the entire cast list, orders them in alphabetical order, then lists the first few actors from that list. And they tend to do this for a lot of movies here, not just this one.

So in this case the "stars" of the film are Frank Albertson, Martin Balsam, Francis de Sales, and George Eldredge (as listed when you search Movies and TV for the film). And according to IMDB the last two were uncredited! Nice going, Amazon.

This is a cute farce but I found the story plodding at times. Dee and Darin make the entire thing work. They're funny, adorable and make a cute couple.

The story itself is off balance. I couldn't identify with any of the characters.

It was nice to see Dee as a domestic wife who knew how to cook!! She didn't in real life. And its kind of sad to watch her as well knowing that she battled anorexia all her life. If it is true that the camera adds ten pounds then Dee was rail thin because ... Read More:

This is the second series to be called simply The Super Friends (1978-1979) Thus the label volume 2. The First series under the same title which ran from 1973-1974 is the one that featured Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog. The episodes on this disc were not part of the All New Super Friends Hour. Or any other Super Friends incarnation. This was a stand alone series. Check out Hanna- Barbera's Super Friends Chronology. It's a great source for helping you keep track of all the Super Friends series and their actual titles.

One thing that I think makes this Superman stand out from the rest is his voice. His character voice is cool. The Filmation Batman and Aqauman also have cool character voices. Another thing is the sound track. In my opinion all of the Filmation cartoons have cool music, especially at the end credits. I'll be 47 yrs old on the 9th, and all of these Filmation cartoons are fond memories when I use to watch Saturday morning TV.

Like Alan fell in love with Ella the first time he saw her face I fell in love with this movie. OK so it may a little hokie the dialogue a little lame and the story a little far fetched, I still think it was a beautiful premise. A girl can dream can't she. I first saw it in June 2007,and I think at this point in time it's my favorite movie. And Conner Reeves' rendition of "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" knocked my socks off, he he definately gives Roberta Flack a run for her money! Beautiful soulful voice I looked him up (I was not familiar ... Read More:
