| This film is a strange one for me as I remember I actually hated it the first time I watched it years back but when I started looking seriously at old films and especially Westerns I began to appreciate "Cat Ballou" a lot more and now after seeing this a few times, I have to say that this is an excellent, hilarious spoof on Westerns and the jokes age very well even to today. | I thought "The Blue Gardenia" was a great movie. I loved the acting. I loved the music. I loved the atmosphere. Anne Baxter is a personal favorite. She never disappoints. |

| Mostly I liked the video. I like all of the featured artists. Good mix of talking and singing. The one negative was that audio was slightly out of sync with the video, that was distracting. |

| This is a great DVD set to own. If you are really into the history of Las Vegas, which I am, it's wonderful. It is a very thorough history of the town and events which had an impact on it. It is a 2 dics set, with two episodes on each disc. The episodes tend to overlap each other in terms of information, so you tend to see the same thing more than once on different episodes. The DVD was made around 1996, so it's now outdated, but still well worth the money. |

| This DVD has a great collection of many old film clips interspersed with limited but informative commentary. I really enjoyed listening and watching the jazz musicians play/sing and the dancers dance. There are two dozen artists/groups that are featured here. I have never seen this video footage elsewhere, so it was really special to see what the music LOOKed like. |

| It should be pointed out that many TV shows were filmed in colour, but broadcast in black and white. Such is the case with "An Evening With Nat King Cole."
This program was NOT colourized after the fact, such as Ted Turner did to many black and white films. Yes, at the end of the program, there is a credit listed for colourization, but that has to do with the technical aspect of filming in colour. | For the price, THE GOLDEN AGE OF MUSICALS is a good deal, if only for the variety of selections. Some of the titles are fairly well-known to fans of movie musicals, but the more obscure films are really what makes this collection worth obtaining. A note: at least two of the musicals can only be placed in that genre by the greatest stretch of the imagination, although they both involve music. | I saw this movie at a private screening and really enjoyed it. There were very personal comments from his wife and others that show how human Nat was. There are many surprises that I didn't know about him and this movie allowed made me respect and appreciate him more. |
