| Saw this with my girlfriend. She cried at the end. This is a well made film. There is one breathtaking shot of Keira Knightley's character posed on the edge of a cliff, with a magnificent backdrop. I would love to have a poster sized print of it up on the wall. An excellent stay at home date movie. Very humorous too. |

| I borrowed from my library as I do many movies. I tried to watch it but I, too, did not find any amusement and I checked the display and had already watched 37 minutes of it without the hint of a laugh. Does this movie start out REALLY slow because it just wasn't funny to me at all. I consider myself to have a pretty good sense of humor and I laugh easily at funny, witty lines. | I was skeptical at first when someone suggested this movie and I was hooked after watching the opening fight/gun scene. I liked it better than The Matrix as there are no crazy special effects and people floating in mid-air, etc. Another Christian Bale DVD added to the collection. Taye Diggs is a bit of a tool in this movie but did a swell job in a supporting role. Shipping was superfast btw, especially me being overseas an all....kudos to Amazon!!! :D |

| If you are into BBC dramas at all you will love this treasure. It is absolutely one of my favorite DVD sets of all time. SOME of the acting is a little bit of a put off at times, but not bad enough to ruin the films, and there are some brilliant performances too. On the whole it is just a visual treat with some great classy drama. I wish there were more movies like this!! |

| I've read the book "Wuthering Heights" many times and it's my favorite love story, so passionate and real. So I wanted to see an appropriate film version to this wonderful book. And I must admit, that this film completely catches the spirit and atmosphere of the book. I think it's very difficult to play the leading roles, especially the complicated Heathcliff's charachter. It's very hard not to make Heathcliff too human and otherwise not too savage. He is not a romantic hero and it's hard to show his vulnerability and passionate love ... Read More: |
