| These days, people are too used to B-Christian movies that try to show life as a happy-go-lucky thing that doesn't portray life's struggles very well. Even I've seen them (and got bored quickly of them). So, hearing about how good Bella is, I also heard of how flawed and imperfect it was, so I didn't expect it to really grab my attention immedaitely. But when it would, I expected it to never let go. | This movie has a latino cast and is in the same genre of film as Carlito's Way and Scarface. It's urban comtemporary and enjoyed it thoroughly. |

| Add this one to your movie marathon with Less Than Zero and Bright Lights, Big City. It has that same feel as the earlier films except for the grisly real-life murder that ends the tale. Performances are solid - particularly Green's - and the sets and costume design are great. Chloe Sevigny, of course, is here - I mean she would have to be, wouldn't she? Anyway, it is very entertaining in that falsely glamorous, trashy way. Very good soundtrack. |

Not only will you be impressed with Mario Cimarro's acting but as the feared drug lord character JuJu he'll have you in stitches. As he gives orders to kill and in the same order tells his goons to be careful! Keep their eyes on the road and not touch any buttons in his car.
