| Another great season of Five-0, with excellent stories, terrific actors, crisp and clean visuals and fantastic soundtrack. TV at its best, with stories that resonate today, plus lots of scenery and eye candy. Pig in a Blanket and The Child Stealers are especially powerful and emotional episodes. The Vashon Trilogy is the TV equivalent of the Godfather trilogy. | Having just returned from El Alamein in northern Egypt where much of this action took place I wanted to recall this very important event and further my interest in Rommel.
A true story, but not one we American's are as familiar as the Brits, since we didn't really have a roll in actualy fighting. | I'm not a big fan of fictional war movies. I mean, come on, there were so many heroic events that took place that there should never really be a need to make a plot up. But, Von Ryan's Express is fiction, and it's actually pretty well done.
The plot is a little weak at times. For the life of me I couldn't understand why, when only 6 miles from the coast the men all stopped and rested. | The Loves of Carmen - Rita Hayworth & Glenn Ford
I remember seeing this film when I was quite young thinking I was going to see the movie version of Bizet's opera Carmen. I was disappointed at first but seeing the beautiful Rita Hayworth in the title role made quite an impression. I remember what I thought was more dancing done by Hayworth than was shown on this DVD.
