| Let me preface this review by saying that I have never read the book that this was based on, and I don't really care to. I've heard the book's very different and I think it would ruin my enjoyment of this fantastic film.

| MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS is an impressive movie. Well-acted, beautifully shot and lit, and with a sharp tongued script and stunning sets, it is a masterpiece, much like the genius book by Agatha Christie is considered today.

| Despite the high regard many romantics hold for this film, I find it predictable and bare-boned in its plot, as were many early films. Many excellent romantic movies have been made over the ensuing decades, but you should watch Casablanca at least once, for it has influenced the English language. |

| The signature collection of DVD's starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall turned out to be a wonderful buy. I had seen Key Largo and The Big Sleep, but I had not seen Dark Passage and To Have and Have Not. These two movies were pure excitement and on-the-edge-of-your-seat action. It is a great addition to a classic movie library. |

| These women will go to great lengths to land a rich husband, even if that means selling all they have, living on hot dogs, and going to high society parties to stake out the millionaires. | Respectfully, Tom Keogh has his opinion/review - I simply don't believe he knows what he's talking about here. Lemmon and Garner do a great job - solid supporting cast. I'm happy to find and buy this; too much garbage is ready to be sold once it's box office run is completed. This movie is memorable and enjoyable. |

| While giving Wayne credit as an enormously popular personality, I have never thought of him as much of an actor. He is always swaggering, wise-cracking John Wayne. Ironically, this film, in which duplicates his real life role of a dying cancer patient, Wayne shows his full depth as an actor.

| I was surprised how good this movie was. It started a bit slow, but once you got to know the characters you really cared. Barbra was amazing and it really is one of the best movies I've ever seen. |
