| Love the sense of humor and great character interaction. Great leading lady that is NOT perfect. Creative stories. Not always the obvious ending. Police drama without the typical plot. Every season has been a success. I bought this blindly as I do not have cable and can only catch this on DVD. It is worth it. I will definitely buy Season 4.I recommend this series for anyone looking for an addictive full of twists mystery with a great sense of humor. |

| I may be in the minority on this one, but this is my favorite Julie Roberts movie. Maybe it is my love of the South or my love of horses, but I find this movie to be funny and charming and pure southern family all rolled into one. Kyra Sedwick as Julie's sister is right on. They look so much alike that I am amazed that they are not sisters. Kyra has some of the best lines in the movie. I am also a big Gena Rowlands fan as well as Robert Duval. | When I first saw The Closer I didn't like it. Somehow I got hooked -- and decided to order the first season to see how it all started and am glad I did. Their cast has somebody for everyone -- young, old, ethnic -- a pleasant change. |

| Vivian Thomas was an amazing man without whom "blue baby" surgery, the first surgery on the human heart, might never have happened. Because he was an African American in a more racist times, he is little known and received credit all too late. He should be an inspiration to young people be they African American or not.
This is also just a very well told story and a pleasure to watch. |
