| The plot in "Home Alone" is clearly improbable, but that doesn't detract one whit from the appeal of impish (but sometimes adult far-beyond his years) Macaulay Culkin, bumbling Joe Pesci, and the rest of the cast. And, like Aesop's Fables, the film has a moral and a heartwarming tone. It's just not possible to dislike this film. |

| The low production quality (camera work, sound quality, editing) was distracting. The story was full of stereotypes, exaggerations and inconsistencies. I wouldn't recommend unless you have a lot of time on your hands and you like saccharin sweet romances. |

A friend of mine reminded me of this movie recently via e-mail, so I stuck in an old copy and gave it another viewing. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much I decided to write a review to remind myself how much I enjoyed it in case I ever forgot again. | For an European it's not always easy to know what the American schoollife is like. This movie shows some important sixties-things. My rate's 3 stars because the real age of the players makes some scenes lesser convincing. |

Its a story of how a woman and her boyfriend conspire to kill the anal retentive husband of her friend. Of course theres a plot twist. But this film by no means is sleazy, like it's cover. And speaking of the cover....who are these women? They're not in the film. |

| How did Jennifer Grey go from Ferris Bueller and Dirty Dancing to this junk? NOSE JOB. That was the biggest mistake of her life. What a horrible movie. I love Tim Curry more then life itself, but not in this movie. He dosen't belong here at all. There are two very short scenes worth watching and Adam Ant is in both of them. If I could cut those scenes out to watch and throw the rest away I would. |
