| This is Rodney Dangerfield at his best. There are good contributions from a number of other actors and a funny appearance by Sam Kinison, but Dangerfield is the star. I cannot too highly recommend Back to School--you can even watch it over and over. One of the funniest comedies I've ever watched. |

| I'll just echo the other reviews here that give this film high marks. I don't think I can add anything to those comments. However, I would like to put in a plug for the original French version of this movie "Cousin, Cousine", which I saw in the theatre in the mid-70's. As good as this remake is - and the fact that Hollywood did such a good job on it is amazing in itself - the original was still better. I just wish that it was also available on dvd. |
