| I've always loved Les Miserables as the music has been so invigorating and the storyline so challenging! If you loved the original musical when it came out in 1985 then you've got buy this as it has many of the original actors singing those roles again such as Colm Wilkinson as Valjean, Alun Armstrong as Thenadier and my favorite, the gorgeous Michael Ball once again as Marius!

| I think it goes without saying that you shouldn't expect historical accuracy out of Disney. This is a company built on talking mice and mermaids, so I didn't wasn't looking for a history lesson. That aside, this movie wasn't as horrible as most of the direct-to-video sequels. The songs weren't memorable, but they didn't grate on my nerves. And, while I'm no expert, I felt that the animation wasn't bad either. It wasn't on par with the first movie. But it wouldn't have been out of place on a Saturday morning cartoon. ... Read More: |

| If you have ever seen Les Miserables over the years, this DVD is a MUST. It celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the show and was done on a stage. The best parts are the actors reactions at the end of the show and the "Vanjeans from around the world" at the end. To see so many men singing the same song in so many languages was wonderful. I would recomend this to everyone who loves musicals and especially if you love Les Miserables. |
