| I'm very touched by the movie, especially the love of John Nash's wife to him. Love is patient, love is endurance, love is not just after one's own benefits, and love shines. And Jennifer Connelly's Oscar is well earned.

| Say what you want about this film. I purchased this Blu-ray as a guilty pleasure, but the good news is its video and audio are great. As one of Universal Studios' first Blu-ray discs this is excellent. Again, the movie is not without its detractors, but as a show piece this disc shines thanks to the wonderful picture quality and exemplary DTS-MA audio track. | The first time I saw this one, I thought Witherspoon's character was a little too unlikable for the lead in a romantic comedy, however, after watching the movie more than once I don't feel as much that way. This is a nice movie that still has a few surprises even though you kind of get the feeling you know where things are going. | The kids really like this, cause of the slapstick. Interesting story about an overprotective dad and how he learns to let go of his firstborn and let her go to the college she wants. It would have been more fun for me if they were able to play up the "Three Little Pigs" aspect a bit more that they set up in the beginning of the film. The part of Don Osmond and also his family is so funny -- he just completely upstages Martin Lawrence. |

| This film definitely deserved all it's academy awards. This movie is amazing from start to finish and Russel Crowe does an amazing job portraying an intelligent man struggling with such a debilatating mental illness. This film will definately pull on your heart strings and get you inside Nash's mind and what it might have been like to be him. You also get to see the brillance of this man who won a Nobel Peace Prize. The special features add to the movie, answering some questions that the viewer still may have.

| I thought the cast for this film was really good. I also liked how the director shot certain parts of the movie as if you were reading a comic book. Despite the positive elements, there were two main things that dragged it down. They were the wierd-looking super dogs, and the disappointing water creature that the father becomes at the end. The special effects were also lacking throughout. This one is decent, but the newer Hulk movie is far superior. |
