| Great christmas of Keeping up Appearances if you need a good laugh this will make you wanna watch it to get some laughs...its crazy how she drives her husband nuts i feel bad for the guy....but its great comedy and very well worth it to.

| Bought this set a while back. A little pricey, but it's worth it. I like the crazy broad in the hat (Hyacinth). She kinda reminds me of my mother. For a while, I was only watching PBS and they showed this all the time. That was when I wasn't working, so now I watch the DVDs when I get home from the Valero station. | I bought this from Amazon and was very excited to add this to my growing BBC library and to complete my KUA collection. The packaging says that the extras include an interview w/ the actor who plays Onslow and "outtakes". Unfortunately the extras included neither. The included interviews were from Patricia Routledge (Hyacinth) and Judy Cornwell (Daisy). There are no outtakes at all. Terribly disappointing as each volume before this one contains at least 5 minutes worth of the most hilarious outtakes ... Read More: |

| this is british T V at its best comedy great
any one that has brothers an sisters will see them in the show, to rate this lower that 5 stars would be an injust thought u may have to watch several shows to get to understand the people within the show but once in u are hooked I even see my friends an somehave told me i am someone within the show |

| Bought the complete set about 5 years ago. I can watch them over and over and still get hysterical laughing!! Out of all the funny shows, this has got to be the best. The whole crew works so smoothly together, and it is nonstop laughter. I lost one tape and just now ordered this one. Cannot be without it!! A must see if you need to laugh!! |

| Extremely funny. Patricia Routledge, who is Hyacinth, is of course immensely talented and quite capable of carrying a series based on this character alone. However, she's surrounded by a talented cast, and they've all got some mighty fine writing to work with. So now, of course, I have to order more Hyacinth. One DVD is not enough. |

| This film short is so far below the quality of Monty Python and Fawlty Towers that I would expect John Cleese to buying every copy to remove all traces of the evidence. Some silliness but almost never clever, it's hard to imagine anyone liking this film short. I am writing this review for one reason only, lower your expectactions as much as you possibly can and then divide it in half. This is how far this falls below any of the Monty Python work.
