| I loved this series when it was out on tv. I just started watching it again and I am finding it to be just as romantic as I remembered. Unfortunately, I am also finding the story line to be somewhat repetitive. |

| This is a very environmental movie, with pollution as the monster and the objective was to save Fern Gully the rain forest. Overall, it was very enjoyable. |

| It's a bit of a disaster, this movie. I thought I ought to try and balance out the 5-star reviews that top the pile of most recent comments with a few of my own before anyone actually buys the DVD. Rent it first, if you still can, and see what you think. Like any movie from a book, it's bound to draw comparisons with the original story. | Encino Man starring Sean Astin, Pauly Shore, and Brendan Fraser is silly stupid even to this day. This is a film you can't take seriously, you will either love or loathe this playful comedy. Fraser and Astin are good actors but Shore... well he's not that talented. Encino Man is definitely a guilty pleasure, enjoy in secret. |

| I personal own this movie, and WOW. The dancing is very good,I recomend it very much. I haver personaly met Patrick Swazye, and YES he does dance that good in person. If you like dancing, any style this movie should be in your collection of "dance" movies. I think Sela Ward plays a wonder mother, who cares about her daughter!!!!!!

| Very nice, inspirational story. Wanted to show this to a pack of Cub Scouts, but thankfully I pre-screened it. This would have been an excellent, family-friendly movie if it were not for a slew of curse words about half-way through the film. None before or after, so it's unfortunate that they couldn't have chosen better language.
Otherwise, very nice story, beautiful cinematography, nice message. |

| I'm into the second DVD and had to pause to register a bit of disappointment. The TV series spinoff is beautifully filmed, with all the believability that the CGI dinos produced in the miniseries. But true to the books or even the miniseries it is not, and I found it a little disturbing that instead of "breathe deep, seek peace", this version of Dinotopia is concentrating more on the human violence and vices of the outside world than the one created by James Guerney.
