| While it's amusing enough, and the effects are impeccable, there's little doubt about the age of the intended audience. Every adult in the film is a clueless buffoon or an officious wacko.
Whether apparently flirty bimbos or bookish babes, the girls are the intelligent ones while the "guys" are walking blobs of hormones and machismo. It's a nice bit of overblown fun even if it can't decide whether to be a serious thriller or a comedic adventure. |

| 24 Redemption is a great 'movie', it's 24 at it's best. I definitely recommend it, but not for the extras. The 'extended version' is a few extra seconds here and there, and other than that it's just an extra 6-8 minutes of credits. Not much of the other stuff on the dvd is really worth watching, except the main feature, of course. And don't fall for the "2 hour event" promo. It's 87 minutes.
But anyway, any 24 fan should have it. |

| Jonathan Demme's version of "The Manchurian Candidate" was a favorite film of mine that recently came to my DVD collection as the result of a great price. Demme won the Oscar for directing "Silence of the Lambs" in 1991. I enjoyed watching the DVD extra interviews with him, only wondering why he didn't use a razor. :)

| I don't even know why people would even compare this movie to The Titanic. Pearl Harbor Came out in 2001--4 years after The Titanic. It also came out just in time for The 60th Anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I was living on Hickam AFB, Hawaii, right across the street from Pearl Harbor when the DVD was first released and I bought it right away.
