| My review is on the movie itself, rather than the DVD itself. I borrowed from a friend to watch it, and I was NOT disappointed. While I don't collect Iron Man comic books, I do know of the story. While parts had to be changed for the movie, it was not at all disappointing.
I enjoyed the movie greatly and its characters and story development (and the acting by Robert Downey Jr. was awesome!). Even a die-hard Iron Man fan should not be disappointed in this movie. My favorite ... Read More: |

| Approximately 1 hr 20 minutes, this DVD is a nice story, has great color, super clear pix, great animation, and nice music. This is a story about determination, motivation, the importance of friendship, standing up against the odds and going all-out after your dream. It's a great story for kids. I occasionally like to nourish my own inner child and also to see what movies are teaching our children (even though my child is 35.) | I loved this movie as a child - and came here as an adult to buy it. It's great to hear it's been restored, but if it was at the price of the integrity of the film, I absolutely refuse to purchase an edited copy. Restoration should mean returning to the original state, not censoring to snare a overprotected, overly sanitized new audience. I will certainly buy a copy when they fix this issue (and intend to find a way to complain to the company responsible as well). |
